


Masai Mara is one of the most famous of Kenya safari parks and the most visited. Standing at an altitude of 5,000ft and 300km from Nairobi, down the Great Rift Valley, it has magnificent views in the distance of the Masai Mara Game Reserve. The game reserve itself offers the famous 'Out of Africa' breathtaking views and covers an area of 1,510 sq. km.
Masai Mara Safari Itinerary
Day 1:
Arrival in Nairobi
On your arrival in Nairobi you will be welcomed by Africa Joy Tours and transferred to your overnight hotel, the Nairobi Panafric. After check in, time allowing, you can have a short city excursion (at an extra cost) and a visit to the Giraffe Centre where children can feed the giraffes. Dinner and our overnight stay is at the Sarova Panafric Hotel.
Day 2:
Nairobi- Masai Mara
After breakfast we depart for Masai Mara, arriving in time for lunch. This is followed by an afternoon game drive and we return to the Mara Simba Lodge between 18:00-18:30 where we dine and overnight.
Day 3:
Masai Mara
We take packed meals and venture further into the reserve towards Mara River in search of the big cats, hippo pools and giant crocodiles and view the world famous crossing point for the wildebeests. We return to the lodge for some free time, possibly a dip in the pool. Energy permitting, we venture out again in the last moments of the day to try our luck with the cats that are active when the temperatures go down.
Day 4:
Masai Mara - Nairobi
We wake up early for a morning game drive and soon after breakfast we start our safari back to Nairobi, arriving there in the afternoon. Lunch will be served at the Carnivore Restaurant followed by our transfer to the airport for our departure flight or other arrangements.
