7Day kilimanjaro Climbing Machame Route

This is 7days Kilimanjaro climbing machame route with a day for acclimatization which will enable you to reach at the summint of mountain kilimanjaro 

Test your stamina and endurance against one of the highest mountains in the world. There are a variety of climb routes to reach the snow capped summit of Mount Kilimanjaro Climbing . Equipment includes Trango4 tents (double occupancy), sleeping bags and thermal liner (rated for -30°F), pillow, 3 inch foam mattress, mess tent with backed chairs and a toilet/wash tent with a portable toilet. Whether you are a novice or veteran, the extreme altitude requires preparation from all participants and a reasonable level of personal fitness.

Day 1:Arrive Kilimanjaro, Tanzania
Upon arrival today, you will be met by an Africa Joy Tours representative and transported to your hotel for your overnight stay. Here you'll have time to sort out your equipment according to a checklist with the guide/climbs Manager to make sure that you have everything you need and be prepared for an early start the next morning.
Day 2:Forest, Machame
With the start of Day 2 we drive to the Kilimanjaro park gate at Machame Village. Here you will register with the park authorities. The day is spent walking and climbing towards the Machame Hut, enjoying the great many bird species calls and flights and the Colobus and Sykes monkeys hiking on the gnarled forest roots and having playful fun around you. We will encounter some heath land before reaching Machame Hut. Depending on the weather conditions, this can be a moderate to demanding day. Count on a minimum of 4 - 5 hours. The camp is pitched around 10,000ft. Here we will lunch, have dinner and then breakfast in the morning.
 
Day 3:
Forest, Shira
We start our 3rd day early in the morning where we cross valleys, streams and ridges on our way to the alpine moorland of the Shira Plateau. The views and foliage can be breathtaking and awe inspiring and you just may see some of the local wildlife as well. The higher in altitude that you climb the more exotic the flora of the area becomes with high altitude plant life. The Camp is pitched near the Shira Hut, around 12,600ft. Here we will overnight and breakfast in the morning.
Day 4:Barranco Valley
Today's walk reaches a high point of 13,000ft and then the path turns downward for the remainder of the days hike. The path down to Barranco Valley can be particularly rewarding and the view of the glowing glaciers and the glimmering Kibo Peak is truly spectacular. The camp is sided with steep valley walls. This evening, camp is sited around 13,000ft. We will overnight with full boarding.
Day 5:
Karanga Valley
Today, we ascend the Barranco wall and cross scree and ridges into the Karanga Valley, approximately 13,450ft. The camps are reached in time for lunch, allowing plenty of time for relaxation and wiling away the afternoon with picture taking and a short acclimatization walk in the area. We overnight at Karanga Ridge with full boarding.
Day 6:
Barafu
From Karanga, head up a moraine ridge taking your time and going slowly. Again, you reach camp, approximately 15,400ft above sea level. We arrive around lunch time leaving plenty of time to prepare and relax. In the evening your guide briefs you for the final ascent. Make sure you have your headlamp, preferably a “led” type one, as the battery has a longer life span.
Every one retires bed as we rise early for our climb to the summit.
Day 7:
The Summit/Mweka
The attempt on the summit occurs at night and very early morning. Each climber is assigned a summit guide to ensure that everyone makes it to the top, or returns as required in complete safety. At Stella point you can choose to return - you are after all already higher than any point in Africa! Otherwise, continue to Uhuru peak at 19,343ft. Most people then start returning quite soon after sunrise, as the return journey today is quite long. Camp is pitched at Mweka at around 10,170ft with full boarding.
 
Day 8:
Arusha
Today you descend to the Mweka Gate and then continue by vehicle to your hotel. It's time to relax, take a hot shower or a swim in the pool to celebrate the achievement of conquering Mount Kilimanjaro. Overnight at your hotel with full boarding and sleep in a soft bed. 

Day 9:Arusha/Departure
Today Africa Joy Tours will transport you to the airport for your onward departure flight.
