The ultimate trip to Zanzibar! Spend two nights experiencing the magic of Stone Town with guided tours of the town, the old slave caves and the nearby spice farms. Enjoy an unforgettable sunset cruise on a traditional Arab Dhow. See the rare red Colobus monkeys found only in Zanzibar. Spend 5 full nights relaxing at your chosen hotel on one of the superb Zanzibar beaches before returning to Stone Town for another exciting sea adventure as we search for dolphins in Menai Bay and enjoy a barbeque lunch on a remote sun-drenched uninhabited island.

                                         

DAY 1:With your arrival at the airport/harbour Africa Joy Tours will transport you to your chosen hotel for your check-in making sure that you are completely comfortable with your overnight arrangements.

DAY 2:
At 9.00am, after breakfast, Africa Joy Tours will pick you up for the start of your tour to Stone Town. This is an informative tour about the culture and architectural importance of Zanzibar with its century of history. It includes a visit to the former slave market site on which now stands an Anglican church, built in 1871. We take a look around the town market and if you are not used to haggling for good prices or if you are in a hurry, the market is best avoided. We visit the Zanzibar Memorial Museum, The House of Wonder built in 1883 (Beit – Al-Ajab), old Arab Fort, The Place Museum and the Old Indian Dispensary (Cultural Centre). After lunch, at 02:30pm, we visit Prison Island the home of giant tortoises. The amazing beach is flanked by a reef sanctuary. The Island is ideal for swimming, snorkelling and beach relaxation. We return to Stone Town for dinner and our overnight stay at your chosen hotel.

Hotel 3 & 4 star in Zanzibar for this package:
