7 Days Ngorongoro crater /Lake Manyara national park/ Zanzibar beach vacation

Day 1:Arusha – Ngorongoro Crater
Africa Joy Tours will pick you up at your hotel in Arusha early in the morning and proceed to Ngorongoro Simba camp arriving in time for lunch. This campsite is simple in its design but is a useful starting point for your Serengeti adventure. Afternoon game drives in the crater. The Ngorongoro crater is the world’s biggest whole volcanic caldera at 8300 sq km and is arguably the most stunning arena. It is frequently described as one of the wonders of the world, not only because of its geological magnificence, but also because it serves as an extraordinary natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s largest populations of large mammals. Ngorongoro and other freestanding mountains are volcanic in origin, formed during the fracturing process that created the Rift valley 15 to 20 million years ago. When the mountain peaked in size 3 million years ago it was of a similar height to that of Mt Kilimanjaro as it is today. You will have dinner and stay overnight at Ngorongoro Simba campsite.

Day 2:Ngorongoro – Lake Manyara
Breakfast leave with picnic lunch for Lake Manyara. Afternoon game drives in the park with its absolute wondrous game and wildlife, where all your expectancies will be met, with the prolific wild life and the abundance of bird life, the trees and grasslands truly this must be Eden. The Lake Manyara National park is serene and beautiful with main attractions of a rich bird life, tree-climbing lions, its elephants, and hippos that you can see at closer range than most other places. Lake Manyara is an alkaline lake and at certain times of the year hosts thousands of flamingos and a diversity of other bird life. Although it is one of the smallest parks, its vegetation is so diverse enabling it to host a variety of wildlife habitats. After the tour we dine and overnight at Lake Manyara Twiga/Jambo/Fig Tree campsite.

Day 3:Lake Manyara - Arusha – Zanzibar
Early morning before breakfast we have a game drive where if you are lucky you might witness an overnights kill leftovers game we return to the camp for breakfast after breakfast you will be returned to Arusha where you will lunch at the Kibo Palace hotel. You will then be drop off at the airport to board a flight to Zanzibar for your beach vacation. On your arrival in Zanzibar, our Africa Joy Tours representative will meet you and drive you to Manarani beach Bangalows to start your beach vacation.

Day 4/ 5/ 6:Zanzibar
After relaxing in the sun and soaking up the rays and replenish yourself after your arduous tour of the Ngorongoro crater tour it is time to explore the beauty of this island. The out of this world experience of the waters of the Indian Ocean with snorkelling, fishing and sailing will leave you exhausted in a delightful sundrenched euphoria. There are the quaint villages to explore and take memories of a true eastern Africa experience with you when you return home.
 
Day 7:Zanzibar departure
Africa JOY Tours will transfer you to the airport to board a flight to Nairobi /Kilimanjaro airport.
