Clinton is a logistics professional and Kilimanjaro mountain guide. He has been involved in the tourism industry in East Africa for more than 12 years. During this time he facilitated numerous safaris and Kilimanjaro climbs. His experience and education adds value to your trip and provides for a safe and educational journey.
Clinton started his career as a Kilimanjaro porter. Through his willingness to learn from international guides and peers alike he was soon promoted to camp crew. After a few years and more hard work this led to an assistant guide position and ultimately to lead guide. Today he is a logistics expert for both East Africa expeditions. He facilitates certain aspects of the logistics and operations for Africa Joy Tours in Tanzania.
Clinton loves what he does and his passion is infectious. He enjoys meeting people from around the world and sharing his passion with them, while always learning about the different personalities. He is a patient individual and will always aim to gain the trust of his clients. It is because of his diligent nature and attention to detail that many tourists ask him to organise many expeditions for them.
Abdul was born in Marangu Village at the southeastern foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro, and lives there today with his two children. Having reached the summit more than 150 times, Abdul knows climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro is a difficult feat, but his outgoing personality and reverence for trekking means he knows how to motivate trekkers to reach the top!
Benedict was born in a village at the southeastern foot of Mt. Kilimanjaro and has climbed the mountain more than 150 times. His extensive experience and easygoing nature make him an exceptional trekking partner and leader. When he’s not guiding, Benedict is spending most of his time to explore more about adventures, playing soccer, and tending his farm.
Brayson Kileo Brayson Kileo has more than 100 ascents of Kilimanjaro. Brayson Kileo has become our expert guide on the mountain Kilimanjaro, and one of Tanzania’s premier guides. He enjoys sharing his extensive knowledge and passion of the area’s natural history, and providing his guests with a local’s perspective on Tanzanian culture and history. Brayson’s professionalism, knowledge, and warm personality make him a favorite.
Innocent is a very active and versatile guide. He is comfortable in a car, walking, riding a mountain bike, or sitting in a canoe. He has worked for various conservation organizations, the national parks authority, and has experience in many parts of Tanzania. Innocent is a quiet and confident guide whose enthusiasm for nature started at an early age. His parents wanted him to become a policeman but his dream was to guide people through nature, so he went to Wildlife College instead.
Innocent’s favourite National Park is Arusha National Park because of the variety of activities that are possible here. In search of a variety of experience he has worked in a variety of places from major game reserves such as Selous Game Reserve, to the small lesser known Duluti Forest Reserve.
